How To Setup PressOne Desktop Apps



To install PressOne Africa (Windows):

Supported OS version: Windows 10 and above

  1. Download: Get the installer file from your App section on the Web Dashboard
  2. Install: Run the .exe file. When prompted by Windows Firewall blue screen, click "More info" and then "Run Anyways"
  3. Install: From the first screen click on "Next" and then on the second screen click "Install".
  4. Login: Upon successful installation, you should see your login screen. Enter your PressOne email and password. The app will auto-configure your extension.
  5. Audio: Click Settings (Gear) > Preferences > Audio and select your headset for both input and output.
  6. Check: Ensure the status icon is Green (Registered).

Troubleshoot: If it won't connect, disable your VPN or contact hello@pressone.africa


To install PressOne Africa (macOS):

Supported OS version: MacOS 13 and above

  1. Download: Get the installer file from your App section on the Web Dashboard
  2. Install: Open the .dmg file and drag the PressOne icon into the Applications folder.
  3. Permissions: Open the app. If blocked by Apple, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway."
  4. Login: Enter your PressOne email and password to auto-provision your extension.
  5. Microphone: When prompted, click "OK" to allow microphone access. Verify audio in Settings (Gear) > Preferences > Audio.

Check: Ensure the status dot is Green. If you have connection issues, disable any active VPN.
